Ancient Cities

Why did ancient cities collapse and how could this have been prevented?

In this project students study a range of ancient cities and identify how the cities were built, the environmental, social, and economic impact of the cities, and the reasons for their decline. By applying eduSTEM’s design thinking process, students research and develop an understanding of the way populations impact their environment. Having identified the causes of the problem, students then design, prototype and build a solution that could have been deployed to prevent the city's collapse.
